In my opinion Romeo and Juliet is about the irrationality of teenagers because in the story of Romeo and Juliet Romeo falls in love with Juliet when he first sees her at a party which was originally to see his previous love. When he sees Juliet he thought that she was the most beautiful thing he ever saw. That night he went outside of Juliet’s room where they proposed to get married the next day, this shows a sign that teenagers can be very impulsive, especially with love where they think that they are meant to be together for ever when in fact their love was never meant to be, as said in the prologue. Teenagers also tend to think that they are always right and in this story Romeo and Juliet think that they are doing the right thing in getting married because they think that their love will solve the feud between their families. Their love does not move their parents at all, it actually angers them even more to the point where the parents do not want to see their children. Ultimately this story is about how foolish these two teenagers are because of their impulsivity to get married.

In my opinion, Romeo and Juliet is about the foolishness of the adults. This is because in the story, Romeo and Juliet's parents have been fighting because of an old grudge that goes back years. When Romeo and Juliet fall in love, they have to keep it a secret because of the fighting and to please their own parents. I believe true love is true love no matter how quick or how long two people act on it. Romeo and Juliet loved each other and tried to escape Verona and the violance their parents have caused, but both ended up dead to be with each other. The parents of the two households always fought, and sometimes, their fighting ended up in death. The grudge they have against each other is so old, that they don't even know what they are fighting about. Because of Romeo and Juliet's parents failing to realize that there was no point in fighting, their foolishness cost the lives of their only children.
